Life is like a rollercoaster ride filled with delightful surprises and challenging hurdles. Over the last few years, I have been navigating holding onto joy, hope, and trusting in God’s plan as the wife and source of strength for my husband as he battles cancer. Like many women, I lean on the fantastic gals in my life. They are the cheerleaders, comedians, therapists, prayer warriors, and navigators through stormy seas and sunny days. Together we conquer mountains and dance in rainbows.

I created these charming whimsical designs, devotionals, and Blogazine, to embrace and celebrate the awesomeness of the gals in your life and mine–and to treasure the connection with other kindred spirits.

As an artist, designer and writer, I take delight in using the gifts God gave me to add a little ‘Sprinkle of Glitter’ to your day … a little beacon of light thru all seasons of this blessed life 🦋

Why did SONflower Gal rebrand?

As the founder, I often get asked that question from our wonderful supporters who have followed our journey since we launched in 2018 … as life brings the most unexpected seasons. In the Fall of 2021 my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer (removed) that metastasized to his lungs and my care for him understandably comes first.
As of Summer 2024, thru God’s miracles and ongoing treatments, his lung cancer is ‘stable’.
Prayers continue for him to be cancer-free.

With the support of the SONflower Gal team, during this challenging personal season in my life, the brand continued its mission and continued to grow … but the time, energy, and mental wellness needed to sustain a fashion brand became unsustainable. After 5+ blessed years, God clearly guided me and SONflower Gal in a new direction. It was a difficult decision but when you completely let go and trust in His plan, blessings happen and a new season of light and love unravel before you in the most unexpected ways.

Our beautiful & exclusively designed graphic apparel for women was sold online and thru popups at faith-based women’s events, private fundraisers and more.
