Life is like a rollercoaster ride filled with delightful surprises and challenging hurdles. Over the last few years, I have been navigating holding onto joy, hope, and trusting in God’s plan as the source of strength for my loved one battling cancer. Like others going thru unexpected seasons, I lean on the fantastic gals in my life. They are the cheerleaders, comedians, therapists, prayer warriors, and navigators through stormy seas and sunny days. Together we conquer mountains and dance in rainbows.
I created these charming whimsical designs, devotionals, and Blogazine, to embrace and celebrate the awesomeness of the gals in your life and mine–and to treasure the connection with other kindred spirits.
As an artist, designer and writer, I take delight in using the gifts God gave me to add a little ‘Sprinkle of Glitter’ to your day … a little beacon of light thru all seasons of this blessed life 🦋

Why did SONflower Gal Compassion Fashion rebrand?
Since launching SONflower Gal in 2018, I have been overwhelmed by the love and encouragement of this beautiful community. The journey has been filled with joy, growth, and unexpected seasons. In the fall of 2021, life shifted when my loved one was diagnosed with cancer, and I stepped fully into the role of primary caretaker.
Thru the beginning of that season, the SONflower Gal Compassion Fashion mission continued forward, and I am forever grateful for the team and the community who carried it with me. Yet, as the months unfolded, I realized that the time, energy, and heart required to sustain a fashion & home goods brand were no longer possible. After five wonderful years, in 2023, God gently led me into a new chapter. While the decision was not easy, releasing it into His hands opened the way for a blessed new beginning—ushering in a season of light, love, and renewal for SONflower Gal and myself . . . yes, it was hard to say goodbye to the team, but they are my ‘forever’ supporters, comfort thru my tears, cheerleaders in moments of celebration and prayer warriors.
By God’s grace, as of Fall 2025 my loved one’s cancer is stable, and we continue to pray with hope for full healing.

The SONflower Gal name and mission were envisioned over 25 years ago, tenderly held until God’s perfect timing. In 2018, after a gentle nudge (okay… a holy shove!) from God, SONflower Gal finally took root—blossoming from a long-held dream into a mission to spread compassion near and far through faith-inspired, stylish apparel that rises far above the ordinary tee or hoodie. Our lovingly designed pieces soon unfurled into a full garden of stylish faith fashion, accessories, home goods, and thoughtful gifts for gals of faith (along with a few fun gifts for guys).
For several years, SONflower Gal creations found their way into hearts through online shops, pop-up events, faith-based women’s gatherings, private fundraisers, and festivals, leaving traces of beauty and joy wherever they bloomed.
Up to 50% of profits scattered petals of kindness and love wherever they were needed.
